Being a self-taught artist gave me an opportunity to learn from my surroundings, the subjects that inspire me and artists whose works have captivated me. I have developed a keen sense of observation arising out of curiosity to know how other artists create an artwork, what were the thoughts behind it, how did he/she create the painting etc. I have used the learnings from these observations to try various genres, mediums and eventually grow as an artist. The challenge of learning something new is what I love the most and look forward to.

When I draw or paint, I forget the reality around me, and immerse into a world that is full of endless possibilities to create what I imagine and visualize. And, that I feel is the ultimate experience of being an artist.
