Neeharika Naidu

Neeharika Naidu is a 69 years old self taught artist. She began painting at age 65 and has enjoyed this creative outlet. She has been a professional vocal artist all her life . She has travelled all over the world performing on stage. But now she prefers to stay home n indulge in painting which she finds very therapeutic.

Neeharika is a post graduate in English literature and  graduate in Vocal Classical music from Gwalior gharana. She was also in other fields of occupation like being editor of an International magazine and Director of a conference company. 

Neeharika does not follow any one artist for her inspiration as she feels copying is not a compliment but it takes away from the other person’s originality.  She likes to do her own thing with colours. There is no big philosophy. Colours make her happy and bringing life to life in colours, gives her utmost happiness.
